lightning.
the crashing of thunder.
not being able to see the road ahead.
traffic lights gone haywire for a second.

i am thankful,
for i am still alive and kicking.

some personal thoughts.
our actions contributed to the level of carbon dioxide being trapped in the atmosphere,
in short, global warming.
and global warming results in a sudden drastic change in the atmosphere.
bad weather conditions.
then we feel scared.
isn't this really contradicting?
take the storm that occur yesterday as an example.
why would a storm like that occur yesterday?
global warming.
and that was the first time in my whole life living in Singapore,
did i witness such a storm taking place.

after the storm.
many trees had fell.
traffic jams everywhere.
and i bet the drivers were cursing under their breaths.

and i saw trees really tall and huge lying on the ground, uprooted.
those strong roots.
they had lived through decades,
just to fall because of our selfish actions.
i felt really sad.
humans->global warming->bad weather conditions->apocalypse.
trees can lessen the effect of global warming!
so why are we killing them
just
like
that?

730pm.
everything had returned to normal.
it was like nothing had taken place earlier on.

15th of March 2009.
the first time ever had such a drastic storm occured in Singapore.
